I left my RV to get renovated and checked (plumbing and Appliances) at All Campers in Rockville, MN. The owner, Andrew, said the estimate would be $600. So I thought, once I get the estimate I will preapprove the to do list. That is not what went down. The day it was supposed to be fixed, which was yesterday, the estimate changed. Me and my husband went down there to take a look at it before they started. My husband saved me from getting shafted out of a lot of money. On the estimate paper, that by the way the receptionist, administrator lost when I called in and finally found it an hour later ( bad sign), the estimate went up to $1200! That’s without actually doing any work yet. I’m supposed pay that just for troubleshooting it as they put it. The guy that was going to fix it actually had no idea why the owner racked up a different estimate when we got there. Then, they were going to cut into the bathroom sealing which is thick metal and put in a special fan that costs $650 without my knowledge. According to the Kyle the worker there, all I needed was to change the original one because it’s broken. So, if I was going to go on board with this, probably would have racked up a nice bill in the end. In conclusion, they did take the old fridge out for $175. It’s those old Amonia ones. That was the only thing worth doing and then we got the hell out of dodge because the owner is trying to maximize profit for himself without doing it right. On the bright side, my RV ran really well on the highway. Never took it on the highway before. Baby steps to greatness!
